About the BEAR SANCTUARY Müritz
The BÄRENWALD Müritz has been taking care of bears that come from poor keeping conditions for eleven years now. In the BEAR SANCTUARY Müritz, the brown bears have a total of 16 hectares of space and therefore enough opportunity to withdraw and not only avoid the park visitors, but also avoid each other if they want to. In addition, the area available to them is deliberately left in its natural state to enable the animals to live as bear-like as possible. Many of the bears only found their way back to their natural behavior here and went into hibernation for the first time after their arrival in BEAR SANCTUARY.
