Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • One and a half cups of couscous
  • Two and a half cups of water or chicken broth
  • Salt to taste

Preparation

Step 1. Sauté

In a pressure cooker pour a teaspoon of butter to melt and then add the teaspoon of oil. Once the oil has taken some temperature, add the couscous and mix it very well for two minutes.

Step 2. Hydrate

After this time, add the water or, failing that, the chicken broth. Also, add salt to taste while stirring all the ingredients so that they are perfectly integrated. Close the pressure cooker and let it cook there for 8 minutes. At the end of this time, let the pot get all the air out and open it. Add a teaspoon of butter to the couscous and mix very well.

Step 3. Serve

Your couscous is ready to serve and you only have to accompany it with any type of vegetable and/or protein that you like, since its flavor is very neutral and goes well with any food. Ready, feast and enjoy every bite.
