These bucolic memories are those who inspired the latest collection of Claudia SchiffeR For Bordallo Pinheiro, a prestigious Portuguese ceramic manufacturer with whom he first collaborated in 2020. His new pieces, ideal for informal entertainment, continue to include their characteristic design of butterflies, but this time in a more terrous palette, with colors such as cinnamon and gross.

We sat down with Claudia Schiffer To talk about his inspiration for the new pieces, his favorite dessert of the summer and how he likes to receive his guests this season.

The first question was, what made him want to collect pieces Bordallo Pinheiro, to which the model replied: «Years ago, they gave me a tray of Bordallo Pinheiro cheese, which was very playful, and we used it all the time. So I started collecting more barn pieces, to use and give to friends. I love how the designs represent ingeniously creatures and objects of nature, and the colors are so vivid.

Schiffer puts the table on his outer patio with a Soler dress. What is in your summer menu? Fish and vegetables. «They look very good in the largest sources,» he says.

In his previous collection for Bordallo he also used butterflies. Why did the model want to continue working with that topic? “I have always liked the idea of ​​transformation, which for me symbolizes the butterfly. I know some of that, since I was a shy teenager who suddenly found herself in catwalks, television programs and advertising fences around the world. Butterflies are innately elegant, they adapt and evolve. I try to give priority to health, happiness and well -being, which I find being with my family and close to nature, so it is no accident that my Designs They always refer to the natural world. ”
