CARIPE: GARDEN OF EASTERN VENEZUELAN

Caripe, the Garden of the East in Venezuela; It is the capital of the municipality of the same name. The cave was declared a national park on May 27, 1975 and owes its name to a bird called guácharo, frugivorous bird that comes out at night to feed and stays in the cave during the day, where it has its nests at the top of the cavern. It is formed by limestone rocks, from the Mesozoic era of 130 million years ago, when the deep waters of the sea enveloped the North of the West and East of Venezuela.
