Don’t waste any more time, have a good time staying in shape by learning those basic «tips» to exercise. Good physical condition is the key to double performance and have energy all day. It will activate your muscles and get them ready for action. Your organism is very wise; If during physical activity you feel any discomfort, immediately stop the routine, stay hydrated and let your body recover. Practice this series of exercises once a day, do not overdo it.
Before starting, it is recommended that you wear comfortable clothes that allow you to move easily, preferably sports, and tennis-type shoes. You will need a personal water bottle so that you are constantly hydrated and your body performs well. Find a smooth, soft, comfortable mat or rug, turn on your stereo or iPod, and warm up with stretches.
As a first option, jog on flat ground and move your arms in rhythm with your body for five to ten minutes. The second option is to perform “yogi” step instead. With each stride, your knees should reach your hips. Do this exercise for five to ten minutes as well. Start with a slow jog and then speed up.
To accentuate the strength of your leg muscles, stand up with your legs shoulder-width apart, keep your back straight, your hands on your head and bend your knees; without going all the way down, go up. Do two sets of ten repetitions.
The abdominals cannot be missing in a routine. To perform them, try lying down with the soles of your feet flat on the ground and your arms straight out at shoulder height. Do two sets of ten lifts. To reduce your waist: stop, spread your feet shoulder-width apart, with your back straight, place your hands on your hips and rotate your back in imaginary circles; keep your feet off the ground. Turn right and then left. Do two sets of ten reps per side.
Tone your arms and back with this exercise: Lie on your stomach, knees together and palms flat on the floor. Raise and lower the body in a straight way. Practice two sets of ten repetitions. Every time you finish a session, try to hydrate yourself by taking two sips of water. Try to maintain a consistent routine, exercising daily or every other day, to maintain good physical condition and take care of your health.
With these routines you will work the areas of the abdomen, legs, waist, hips, arms, back and buttocks. Although exercise is a great ally for your health, it is important that you eat a balanced diet that includes the consumption of necessary proteins, fruits, and vegetables.
