Impromune contains three active ingredients that are of natural origin:

Proper use and dosage of Impromune in dogs

The correct dosage of Impromune for dogs is ½ to 2 chewable tablets once a day.

  • Body weight under 10 kg: ½ tablet daily
  • 10 to 25 kg body weight: 1 tablet daily
  • Body weight from 25 kg: 2 tablets daily

For very stubborn cases, you can grind it up, mix it with water and put it directly in its mouth with a feeding syringe.

Unfortunately, despite the score line, it is not easy to break the Impromune tablet in half. You can usually only do this with a knife.

How long does it take for Impromune to work in dogs?

The effect of Impromune in dogs only becomes apparent after prolonged treatment with the dietary supplement, i.e. after a few weeks at the earliest.

How long it should be used depends on what Impromune is being given to the dog for. Usually the dog gets Impromune for about 3 weeks.

In the case of leishmaniasis, the treatment can last up to 6 months.

Also, many veterinarians see the long-term administration of Impromune as an immune-boosting agent as not problematic.

Whether, how often and for how long you should give Impromune to your dog is still up to the veterinarian, but not you. This applies to all veterinary medicinal products.

So far, there are no known side effects that have occurred in dogs with Impromune and therefore no negative experiences from dog owners and their dogs.
