Much is known about aphrodisiac foods for men, but which ones work for us?
Whenever aphrodisiac foods are talked about, advice and tips are dedicated to men and the food that makes the blood flow to their virile member, but what about us? What should we eat to improve our performance in bed? Are there aphrodisiac foods for women?
The answer is yes and at Vibra we set out to find them to recommend them to you… Get the pot ready and take note!
Asparagus: They may not give your urine a pleasant smell, but they do contain vitamin E, which helps release more hormones, such as testosterone, estrogen, and progesterone, which can cause lubrication in your intimate area.
Dark chocolate: Dark chocolate, which is made up of 70% cocoa, can help increase levels of dopamine (the pleasure hormone) in the brain, which will lift your spirits and improve your body’s response to stimulation . Mmmmm!
Spicy coffee: For some women it is very stimulating to have a cup of coffee with a little pepper before launching into the ring…
Tea with cloves: On the contrary, other women say they get more «ganositas» with a mixture of green tea and cloves. Try to see which drink stimulates your libido the best!
Some herbs, such as the root of ashwagandhathe damianathe root of bruisethe thistle and the extract from tong kat ali, have been used since ancient times as female aphrodisiacs thanks to their ability to allow blood to flow to the female intimate area. Other natural aphrodisiacs that work for most women are those that relax you and lower your stress levels, such as ginkgo biloba and the ginseng.

Keep in mind that, unlike men -whose mechanism works in almost the same way in each individual- women are very diverse, so foods that serve as aphrodisiacs for some, do not work for others. Our advice is… Test and find which ones are effective for you!
