After removing adipose body from the cheek, it was «like a skull»

A young Brazilian woman had the fat body of the cheek (also known as a bichectomy procedure), but he says his face fell off and he was left looking like a skull.

Some women do not feel comfortable with the size and shape of their cheeks and therefore decide to undergo various cosmetic surgeries; however, sometimes things don’t go as planned and they end up regretting it. That is the case with this young Brazilian, who underwent bichectomy. But before I tell you his story, let’s talk about this procedure.

What is cheek fat called?

It is known as Bichat bags and we humans naturally have it under the cheeks.

What is the Bichat bag?

These are bags of encapsulated fat in each of the cheeks; its size changes from person to person.

What is facial bichectomy?

It is a plastic surgery in which the fatty bodies of the cheeks are removed in order to make the face look more stylized.

What is the function of Bichat bags?

Its function is to cushion the muscles and other facial structures when we chew food or suck liquids.

The young Brazilian Jessica Frozza is the mother of a little baby, as can be seen on her Instagram account @eusoufrozza, where she has 84k followers, and his failed bichectomy case went viral. She decided to share on her social networks how dissatisfied she was with the surgical procedure, because, as she indicated, it was «like a skull», because her face fell.

“Despite all the repercussions, I start writing! There is something more than 2 years between the photos.
About bichectomy:

1- I understand that it was a new procedure, that we would not know the end of everything!

2 – Every person has their particularity! If you look cool. How good! I had a bad experience! And it’s fine too 💚

3 – Do not speak or judge the professional! It doesn’t put a gun to your head or force you to do absolutely anything!! I went because I wanted to! I did it because I wanted to! And I liked the immediate result!

4 – I had a severe image disorder! And thank God today I am in deconstruction! I am going to remove the silicone prosthesis and I began to love myself and improve what I have. Accepting what God has given me!

5 – I do not speak here, do it or do not do it! I had an indication (from the professional) that I didn’t do it alone! I am exposing my experience! Respect it!

6 – Many of the comments I read, most of them are “well done! You deserved it”, whoever sent it… It’s painful! I suffered and suffer from looking at myself in the mirror every day!

7- Posting the before and after I only remember how beautiful I am and how much a pattern that was imposed on me has mutilated me.

Please accept each other.”

The young woman wrote next to the following photo before and after the intervention…

The Brazilian clarified that the surgeons did their job well, but that the treatment just wasn’t right for her face. She made her case public because, according to her, no one warned her that this could happen to her. In a video shared through her TikTok, she recounted details of her experience (in Portuguese, but something is understood). She later deleted said clip, which is now on Youtube.
