It does not require any previous preparation, Gis's painting is inherently a miracle if you do not want to sand the surface first because it adheres to many surfaces. And yes, as an additional benefit, you can use it as a board (this could actually be great at a breakfast).

In addition to not being toxic, mineral paint is lasting and water resistant. In addition, it does not require preparation to adhere to a slippery surface. The disadvantage is that you are paying for that durability, since it is much more expensive (and comes in smaller doses) than some of the other options.
