A villa designed to have fun, create and rest | Digest Architectural

The classic houses They were the main inspiration of this beautiful project. Upon returning from his long stay in Spain at the beginning of last year, the mind of the interior designer Anuradha Alegavi Shukla was inspired. The energetic atmosphere of the country, its bright colors and its Centennial architecture They were raw material for their designer mind. By chance, a couple contacted their company, June Walk Design, to decorate a Spanish -style villa in Bengaluru. I was delighted since it could apply all the inspiration of the Classic houses that he could admire in Spain.

The exterior of the town presents classic Spanish architectural elements, such as soft arches and a roof of tiles. Bengaluru's sun plays with surrounding foliage and projects shadows on the facade, creating postcard images to classic houses style.

The chosen place was a two -story town of Bengaluru, 1,000 m², with a Spanish facade surrounded by a leafy garden. Shukla began to decorate the interior with a modern Mediterranean style by adding typical Spanish architectural elements, such as arched and niche doors, wooden beams in sight, decorative tiles, wrought iron railings and modern lamps: «The owners wanted the great extension of the house Having lived in it, «says Shukla. To recreate the feeling of Classic houses You had to look a lot at the management of spaces and colors without losing the Mediterranean thread.

Upon entering the house, visitors are received by folding doors of black iron and crystal as they define the lobby and allow the cozy living room to take a look. Just as in Classic houses.

In the lobby, a arc -shaped wooden mirror stands on a black wooden console in Jaypore. On the right is the main room. The folding doors separate the hall from the living room, giving intimacy without completely isolating the rooms.

The main room has a vaulted roof with a large window overlooking the front garden flanked by niches with built -in shelves. The relaxed spirit of the room is achieved through a careful combination of seats. A navy blue sofa in front of another light beige, along with two contiguous scripts of Ratán and Leather of Dtal Modern create an intimate atmosphere for family gatherings and with friends.
