Crystal Palace

The style of this building is art nouveau. Is inspired by the Crystal Palade from London and was built between 1903 and 1905 with iron, pressed partition and glass from Germany.

It is currently the Chopo University Museumdedicated to the promotion and dissemination of contemporary art.

Palace of Communications

It is an eclectic style monumental building built at the beginning of the 20th century.
The project was in charge of the Italian SILVIO CONTRIcommissioned Porfirio Díazwho sought to show Mexico to the world as a modern and advanced nation.

Details such as the blacksmiths and the ornamanos of the stone, the furniture, paintings, crystals, doors and stucco were made by the artist Mariano Coppedé.
