Some time ago, the French brand also opened its first store in Italyin Milan (Corso as). We interviewed Barbara Boccara To know how this story of fashion, design and deep friendship arose.
How and when did the idea of this project arise?
«I discovered Ibiza when I was 17 with Sharon. We both studied Hebrew as second language. After the exams, we went on vacation and since then we have never separated. We had the same desires, the same ambitions, the same lifestyle and the same values.»
«Then we took the habit of visiting the island twice a year, in May and July, to have fun and celebrate! During our numerous visits to Ibiza we have met wonderful people and we have made real friends. So every year we rent a villa just to be together. Over time, an own mansion arrived, the friends, where we could spend all the time we wanted.»
How would you describe this village of Ibiza? What is your environment?
“It is a place where I feel alone, where I can take time for me and recharge my psychophysical energy. It is very different from the agitated life that I lead in Paris. I like to do pilates next to the pool, eat a meal prepared by our chef or simply contemplate the landscape from the pool: it gives you a true feeling of freedom. I have tried to create a cozy atmosphere. Above all, it is a warm place where I invite my friends and family to spend time together. I want everyone to sit at home. ”
