8 Frank Lloyd Wright buildings named World Heritage

Try to synthesize the legacy of Frank Lloyd Wright It is not an easy task, each of his works speak of a specific moment and space. The buildings of the American architect have gone down in history as emblematic structures, so since 2002 the organization Frank Lloyd Wright Building Conservancy, began with a process of years to ensure that some of the works are recognized by the UNESCO.

The selection of 8 of its constructions covers 70 years of Wright's career, where the different silhouettes with which he experienced are distinguished. Each of them will be evaluated by the International Council of Monuments and Sites, They met in July in Baku. Finally on July 8, 2019, the Selection Committee has approved this proposal and the sites enter the recognized list of World Heritage of Humanity, which includes surprising buildings such as Notre Dame's cathedral and Sydney opera.
