Dogs are true sleep world champions: They rest significantly more than we humans; the animals' slumber ranges from 12 to over 20 hours. This is not always a deep sleep, so it can happen that the four-legged friend only closes his eyes for a few seconds and then is fully awake again.
Restless short sleep This mainly occurs when the dog feels insecure, for example because it does not have a proper caregiver nearby. However, if your four-legged friend blindly trusts you, he will become his Nap with preference near you want to stop.

It is also a sign of great trust if the dog moves away from you without growling, whining or other grumbling maintain lets. Even during unpleasant procedures such as combing, brushing teeth or trimming claws, he stays still.

No matter whether the dog then disappears into the bushes, a car or other animals come – as soon as you call him, he recognizes the seriousness of the situation and then waits for further instructions from his pack leader.
7. He makes you Gifts
Giving treats is often a nice educational aid, but it does not ensure a good bond between dog and owner. So you shouldn't think that your dog loves you just because you constantly pamper him with snacks or other things.
But things look different the other way around: When a dog gives you a gift, it is a sign of strong trust in you. If, for example, he gives you his chewing bone or his favorite toy, this means that the four-legged friend really loves you.
8. He shows no separation anxiety

Animals observed with dog cameras often show panicked and fearful behavior, and destructiveness is also a common side effect.
The dog then suffers separation anxiety, which can quickly take on pathological traits. If he trusts you, this will never actually occur: he then knows that he can rely on his owner:
- When he leaves the house he remains calm and relaxed.
- While you're away, your neighbors don't report any distressed barking or whining.
- When you come back, the dog is happy and the apartment is intact.
This point shows how important trust is for this Happiness of a dog is. If he forms a real team with his owner, he is also stronger on his own. This also applies to other activities where he cannot be directly with you, for example when traveling in the transport box or on a bike ride.

How a dog looks for his own caregiver out of?
Dogs are pack animals: Their social structure is structured hierarchically. In their world there is a hierarchy, at the top of which is a leader, i.e. the pack leader. This is an evolutionary remnant that the animals got from their “forefather”, the wolf.
If you live alone with your dog, the hierarchy should actually be clear: you are the pack leader, the four-legged friend is your “subordinate”. However, it becomes more difficult in multi-person households: If there are partners, roommates, children and perhaps other pets, the social structure becomes a lot more complex.
The dog then usually finds a caregiver in whom he particularly trusts. It is not always the person who is officially its owner – the four-legged friends are very sensitive, picky and surprisingly good observers.
Observe Hierarchy in the household
Dogs are quite capable of taking a closer look at family life and drawing their own conclusions. So they decide for themselves who is “the boss”.
Children, for example, are very rarely recognized as absolute caregivers because, on the one hand, they are smaller than their parents and, on the other hand, they also have to follow instructions.
Remember who take particularly good care of them
Dogs also remember who cares primarily and especially for them. It's only a secondary concern about who fills their food bowl. Instead, the animals perceive very precisely who they are really gives love.
This includes, for example, this Stroking and cuddling: If you scratch your four-legged friend's fur reluctantly and without making eye contact, he will acknowledge this, but will not yet build trust in you. But as soon as he feels that you are there for him, he quickly grows into it right team approach. Of course, this also includes playful activities, running together and training or command exercises.
