Ingredients

  • Mix for meringue (we share the recipe in the step by step)
  • 3 cups whipped cream
  • Three cups of any fruit (strawberries, kiwis, peaches, mangoes, soursop, etc.
  • Arequipe or sweet sauces to your liking

Preparation

Step 1. Make meringue

The first thing you should do is prepare the meringue mixture. If you don’t know how to do it, here we share step by step how to make meringue without failing in the attempt. Following this recipe, you can have it ready to continue with the preparation. Now, unfold baking paper on a tin that resists the heat of the oven and trace some circles on this paper with the help of the mouth of a well, leaving space between each circle. Turn the paper over so that the circles are on the bottom and with the meringue mixture, spread each of the edges of the paper so that they adhere to the can.

Step 2. Bake and serve

Put the meringue mixture in a pastry bag and proceed to fill all the circles that you drew previously and making it to the top. Bake the meringues for 30 minutes at 250 degrees Fahrenheit or 121 degrees Celsius. Once they are, you should let them rest inside the same oven and with the oven door ajar for several hours or overnight. To serve them, break the top part of the meringue a little and start adding chantilly cream to fill and put the fruit and sweet sauces (arequipe) that you like the most. Time to enjoy, bon appetit.
