Ingredients

  • 1 diced chicken breast (save the breast bones)
  • 200 grams of peas
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • Three large potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • Half a cup of shells, screws or soup noodles
  • finely chopped long onion
  • Half diced red bell pepper
  • One big onion, diced
  • A teaspoon of cumin powder
  • Two cloves of garlic, minced
  • Coriander leaves
  • A teaspoon of color (optional)
  • Salt to taste

Preparation

Step 1. Boil

In a pot, heat water and add the chicken pieces and the breast bones to release all their flavor. Also place the carrot, paprika, onions, diced potato, salt to taste and cumin. Cover the pot and bring to a boil.

Step 2. Add

Once 15 to 20 minutes have passed with the pot covered and it is boiling, add the shells, screws or soup noodles so they do not soften too much. Put the garlic right there and stir the soup very well. Put the lid back on the pot and allow the ingredients to cook for an additional 15 to 20 minutes. Just in case you see that the soup has thickened a lot, add a little more water and season with salt again. At that time you can also add the color, if you like.

Step 3. Serve
