Ingredients
- 6 ears shelled
- 1/2 pound curd
- 6 slices of mozzarella cheese
- Half a stick of melted butter
- Half tablespoon of vanilla essence
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/3 cup of heavy cream
- Half a cup of milk
- salt and sugar to taste
- Corn wrappers (leaves)
Preparation: how the cob wraps are made
Step 1. Blend
The first thing you should do is add the corn kernels to the blender along with the milk. Also add salt and sugar to taste, half a teaspoon of baking powder, melted butter, vanilla essence, curd and heavy cream. Process until you get a somewhat thick dough. Don’t worry if you have some lumps left, because that’s the normal texture of the dough. Put it in a bowl.
Step 2. Boil
Now, deposit enough dough to cover the base of the corn husks. Take care that they are not too full. Put at this time a layer of mozzarella cheese and cover with another teaspoon of dough. Proceed to close each corn husk very well so that its content is not going to come out. Put a pot with two cups of water to heat and build a bed inside with leftover tusas or yams and there, place the wrapped ones on top of each other very well. Immediately cover the pot and boil for 60 minutes. At the end of that time, your wraps should be cooked and ready to be eaten. Bon Appetite.
