Shakti Mudra: relax and relieve tension

He shakti mudra strengthens the respiratory drive in the lower thorax, and has a calming and relaxing effect on the body.

This way, helps fight stress and insomnia, and promotes sleep. In addition, by releasing tension in the pelvic area, it helps to calm intestinal spasms and menstrual pain.

However, if it is practiced too frequently or for a long time, it can cause lethargy. So the recommendation is to do it for 10 minutes when you need it; for example, when you get home to relax and sleep well.

To perform this mudra, place your ring and pinky fingers together, while the index and middle fingers are slightly flexed over the thumbs, which are placed in the palm of the hand. Look at the following image to make it clearer.
