Five foods that make gastritis worse

So far no study has shown that a food by itself causes gastritis. However, there are reports of eating patterns that may favor this discomfort. Here we leave you five:

1. Very spicy foods; especially seasoned with vinegar-based spices such as tabasco sauce

2. Salty foods that contain MSG such as Worcestershire sauce or soy sauce

3. Excessive consumption of alcohol and tobacco. The same as drinks such as black tea, soft drinks and energy drinks with excess sugar, preservatives, theobromine or caffeine

4. Foods high in fat such as pate, butter, bacon, yellow cheeses, pastries, fast food, etc.

5. Sausages that may contain nitrates or certain preservatives

If you maintain a balanced consumption of these foods you can avoid digestive ailments such as gastritis. Remember to balance your diet including fiber, vegetables, fruit and plain water.
