What is the highest city in Brazil?

Campos do Jordão (SP). According to the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE), the city, nestled in the Mantiqueira mountain range, has an average altitude of 1,628 meters, which makes it the coldest in the country, according to the National Institute of Meteorology (INMET): average of 8.1 ºC, calculated over the last 30 years. Still in terms of altitude, but at the opposite extreme, the title of lowest does not go to any city, or rather, it goes to several.
