Brazil, according to the website, recorded 107 audiovisual productions in 2006, behind countries like Argentina (252) and Portugal (108), but ahead of Chile (35) and Peru (21). Among the ushers, with only one film produced in 2006, are Kosovo (province of Serbia) and Zimbabwe. The most frequent genre on the records of the Imdb site are short films: 6,299 last year. Soon after come the feature films with dramatic scripts (4,808) and, who would have thought, documentaries appear in third (3,636). Comedies (3,418), adult films (1,615), thrillers (963), horror (892), action (832), romance (805) and animation (745) complete the ranking of genres produced.
