What is the biggest castle in the world?

It is Prague Castle, which, as the name says, is located in the capital of the Czech Republic. The original construction was inaugurated around the year 880 by Prince Borijov (842-894), Count of Bohemia, and – as is often the case with medieval architecture – underwent several renovations. In the 10th and 11th centuries, for example, churches were annexed to the royal palace. In the mid-14th century, the walls protecting the castle were strengthened. After that, due to a series of conflicts in the region, the fortress was uninhabited until, from 1483, new defense towers were added to the complex and the palace, today the official residence of the Czech government, was once again expanded. Its total area exceeds 70 thousand square meters. In second place, with 50 thousand square meters, is Windsor Castle, residence of the English royal family. Built in 1060 by William I (1028-1087), it has a thousand rooms.
