Have you seen a cat or dog seemingly without an owner? This isn’t too uncommon in cats. It is sometimes difficult to distinguish free-roaming cats from strays or escaped animals.
In dogs, this is rather unusual. Of course, in some countries, dogs roaming alone are part of everyday life; Eastern Europe and Southeast Asia are examples of this. But in countries where the stray dog population is low, a dog is more likely to have been abandoned or escaped.
If you are sure the animal is an ownerless animal, please help. But be careful, because stressed animals may lash out in fear.
