Extremely high and extremely low values for the factors can indicate malaise and illnesses. If you have determined that your cat is at an extreme in personality, consider making attitude changes or see a veterinarian to address any medical issues. The following examples should show you what you can do:
Do you have an extreme shy, scary Cat? Then create additional retreat/hiding places for her in the house/apartment. Consider letting her outside where she can be injured by other, stronger cats. The latter also applies to animals that have a low proportion of neuroticism (are little fearful), they are exposed to a higher risk of injury and death outside (fights with other cats / accidents with cars).
Is her animal very extrovert? Provide plenty of incentives/extra stimulation to keep your cat from getting bored. Play with her, create a lot of variety. Should your cat be on the other side of the scale and little curiosity show, little active and be alert, then have her checked by the vet, maybe she is sick.
dominant Cats: It’s not well understood how extreme values of the dominance factor can be used to improve cat welfare. Do you have an extremely influential cat? Then don’t even think about bringing a second cat into the house. That only gives tyranny, stress and hurt.
Watch your house cat impulsive, unpredictable, ruthless is? If so, adjust his environment so that there are no possible stressors. See a behavioral therapist if you don’t know what is causing your pet’s stress. Does your cat exhibit little impulsive behavior? Then rejoice, low values are an indication that your cat is well adjusted to its environment and enjoys the routine.
is your cat very tolerable and friendly? Then she is sure to be happy and content. Do you have a cat that shows little tolerance and friendliness and rather irritable or aggressive then it could be that she is in pain or just «just» annoyed because something is wrong in her world. Get to the bottom of the matter and find a remedy.
