Know the traffic light that tells you which brands of croquettes are good and which are not (Infographic)

As consumers we are often unprotected, since, not being experts in chemicals or ingredients, we really do not know the quality of the products we consume. In the case of food for animals, this situation is perhaps even worse, since we are even more distant from understanding the content of what we read on their food packages.

Perhaps you have heard that quite popular brands of kibble for dogs are actually of poor quality, but this information tends to remain more like an urban legend than conclusive data. To improve the information circulating on this topic, the Center for Body Psychology Studies has published an infographic that divides the most popular kibble brands and classifies them according to the type of actual nutrients in each brand.

The rating goes from excellent to bad, and as you can guess, the best ones are those that really contain meat ingredients; the worst are those that are made only from corn or cereals.

Remember that the best food you can give your dog is a balanced diet with homemade raw foods such as chicken, rice, vegetable puree, eggs, etc.
