THE SPECTACULAR JEWELS OF THE PRINCESSES

When you talk about jewels and princesses maybe you think of fantasy movies. But it is that when speaking of royalty, it is certainly amazing to see the jewels that shine. Headbands, crowns, tiaras, earrings and rings are part of the universe of a princess, which within the royalty represent a status and part of the strict rules of protocol. The jewels are divided into three groups: the first group those bound to exclusively to the Queen, the second group to the heiress princess and the third group to those that can be used by ladies of the court or that are part of the royal family. One of the most famous tiaras is the Bandeau diadem, which is a tiara that was created as a wedding gift for Queen Juliana of Holland. The original jewel was a necklace that had 34 diamonds in pink. In 1901 the royal family turned it into a diamond diadem with a platinum frame. It was worn by the daughters of Queen Juliana: Beatriz, Margarita and Cristina.

On the other hand, the floral headbands are structured with floral motifs, leaves and stems. They are usually made of platinum, some are even combined with gold inlays. However, diamonds are a constant in them. Infanta Cristina wore one of her on her wedding day, which showed five flowers of different sizes joined by their stems.

About tiaras, the Steel one, worn by Victoria of Sweden; dates from the Napoleonic era and its value is the thousands of hours of work that it took to make it.
