THE ELECTROMAGNETIC FIELD OF THE HUMAN HEART

The existence of electromagnetic field of the human heart it is a reality, although many people find it strange; since for a long time it has been thought that this organ is a simple pump; but at present it has been scientifically proven that this is a very complex system, that it has its own brain; just as you are reading it, and also some neurocardiology studies have shown that it is a sensory organ; capable of receiving, processing and sending information, in a very efficient and sophisticated way.

It is because of that This nervous system located in our heart has been called the brain of the heart.; that provides the independent capacity of the cerebral cortex; of receiving, learning, remembering and even making decisions of a functional type that can be transmitted to the brain itself, and these can affect functions related to perceptual processes, knowledge and especially emotions; that it constantly sends to the brain.

But, this transmission process is not only executed through the extensive network of nerve endings that connect the brain with the entire organism, but also through electromagnetic fields, allows the human heart to generate an extensive and powerful rhythmic field, which compared to that produced by the brain, is about 60 times larger in amplitude; which allows it to reach every cell in the body.

Also, the magnetic component of the human heart is about 5,000 times stronger than that of the brain; and wonderfully it can be detected through sensitive magnetometers, which are placed several meters away from the body; because this organ has the ability to continuously generate a series of electromagnetic pulseswhich in a complex and very dynamic way vary their time intervals between each heartbeat.

This electromagnetic field of the human heart acts as a wave that contains information; which generates a general signal that is synchronized with the entire organism; through a flow of energy that radiates from our heart; in order to interact with other organs and structures.

That is how, the rhythmic field exerts a powerful influence on functional processes occurring throughout the organism, acting as an information network; through a vital connection of the rhythms of the brain with the rhythmic activity of the heart; which explains how the feelings of love, pressure and the rhythm of breathing, combine with the heart rate.

All this has led to studies, such as those of the Heart Math Institute, through which it has been proven that information related to emotional states is communicated through the electromagnetic field of the heart; since it has been observed that the rhythmic patterns of the human heartbeat vary while different emotions are presented.

Negative emotions, such as anger or frustration, are associated with an erratic, disordered, and incoherent heart rate pattern. In contrast, positive emotions such as love or gratitude are associated with a smooth, orderly, and coherent pattern of heart rate activity. In turn, these changes in the heart rhythm pattern create corresponding changes in the structure of the electromagnetic field radiated by the heart, which can be measured by a technique called spectral analysis.

Therefore, it has been shown that constant positive emotions make everything work in a different way, a phenomenon which is called “psychophysiological coherence”; when the heart rhythm presents a wave pattern of almost sinusoidal shape; while the electromagnetic field of the human heart is more organized; which is manifested at the physiological level, with an increase in efficiency and harmony between the systems that make up the body.

From a psychological point of view psychophysiological coherence is associated with a significant reduction in internal mental dialogue, which affects the decrease in stress levels and the increase in emotional balance; favoring mental clarity, cognitive ability and intuition.

Likewise, within the human communication system, not only elements such as voice, language, facial gestures and body movements come into play, but the electromagnetic system or “energetic” communication system also comes into action consciously, since the magnetic attraction or repulsion are influenced by the energetic interactions between people; which obviously affects interaction and social communication.

In this sense, it has been confirmed that the electromagnetic field of the human heart plays a basic role in the process of transmitting physiological, psychological, emotional and social information between individuals. This has been proven by studies at the Heart Math Institute, where it has been shown that this field can transmit information to people, even in experiments where the exchange of cardiac energy between individuals separated up to a meter and a half away has been measured.

We have also found that the brain waves of one person can be synchronized with the heart of another, so it is believed that individuals who have a higher level of psychophysiological coherence are more aware of the information that emanates from the fields of other people, a process in which the nervous system performs the function of an antenna, which receives signals from other electromagnetic fields that arise from other people’s hearts; with which intuition is favored by activating a coupling with an energetic field of information that exceeds the limits of time and space.

It also happens that the heart and the brain can be receivers and transmitters of information about things that are going to happen, before they happen, it is even believed that the human heart receives said information before the brain, a phenomenon that suggests the existence of a potential energy within space and time; which is part of our awareness and understanding of what is called “the whole.”
