- 1 teaspoon of Salt (so much the better if it’s sea salt, but table salt is fine) to salt the rim of the glass. Nope all will be used.
- 1 cup cubes ice
- 1 (1.5 fl oz) of vodka
- ¾ cup of tomato juice (you can buy it already ready or you can blend a tomato and then pass it through a sieve)
- 2 pinches of English saucealso known as Worcestershire or Perrins sauce
- 1 pinch of hot sauce (eg, Tabasco Sauce)
- 10 ml of juice lemon (if you don’t have how to measure 10 ml, nothing happens. It is more or less the juice of half a small lemon)
- Salt Y Pepper to try
- 1 stem of celery
- 2 tablespoons of stuffed green olives (you can find them in any supermarket and they sell them loose, in a bag or jar)
Preparation:
Step 1
Salt the rim of a tall glass. To make it, you can use 2 small plates. In one you are going to put a little water, enough to moisten the mouth of the glass and in another you are going to put salt. Then you moisten the glass, and then you pass the mouth of the glass already moistened by the salt and this is going to remain attached to what was wet. Then fill the glass with the ice cubes.
Step 2
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice (if you don’t have any, you can make it in a juice pitcher), combine the vodka, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, a pinch of salt, and pepper. You shake the ingredients vigorously and then you must strain them into the glass.
Then you garnish with a celery stalk and two olives attached to a cocktail stick and it’s ready to serve.
