1. Tracks are concentric circles of data that are stored on disks that rotate inside magnetic disks.
In hard disks there are several disks and therefore several circles of the same diameter. All the tracks that have the same diameter constitute a cylinder.
The mechanical arm is in charge of reading or writing to the disk, locating itself under the indicated track, waiting for the sector to be accessed to pass.
