Look I want to know the advantages and disadvantages of floppy disks but I don’t know where to find them or how I find them?????

Response from ALEGSA.com.ar:

Currently floppy disks are out of fashion and have almost no use, but in the past they were very useful and had great advantages over the storage media of the time.

Taking into account the current context, the advantages of a floppy are few:
* Transportability: they are easily transportable from one place to another because they take up little space.
* Massiveness: there are many desktop computers that still support 3 and a half inch floppies.
* Ease of reading and recording: they are easily read and recorded, unlike CDs/DVDs that require a whole process to be able to store files on them. The ease of recording and reading a floppy disk is comparable to flash memories.

Disadvantages:
* They are easily damaged: they are easily damaged by sun, temperature, water, dust and magnets.
* Short lifespan: For the above reasons, floppy disks tend to be damaged quickly. Also, in the reading/writing of the floppy disks, the reader head that rests on the storage tape acts. In other words, there is constant friction when using a floppy disk and that is why they get damaged. It is not the same with CDs and DVDs, where the light is in charge of reading the data, there is no friction.
* Low storage capacity and slowness, compared to current storage methods.
