The task and file SCMon.exe is a program that appears on Sony VAIO computers. It is the Smart Connect Version 2.1 which allows data transfer between Vaios using i.LINK cable. Smart Connect supports file and printer sharing on a network.
It is usually launched together with Windows under the name of Smart Connect Monitor and the command or file SCMon.exe.
Tip: The user decides whether or not to let the Smart Connect Monitor task start along with the system if he thinks it is necessary.
