Affair: How to know if the Revealer Keylogger is installed
File: What Is rkfree.exe?
Date: 2017-05-21
Name: RAMON – Origin: Spain
Good morning, yesterday when I turned on the computer I found the rkfree_setup_226 program on the computer desktop with the icon to install (I have not downloaded this file)
So I tried to find out what this program could be used for (I already know what it is for) but I don’t know if it has been installed, I looked in installed programs and found nothing.
My question is is it possible that it is installed and I cannot see it? If so, how can I locate it?
Thanks.
Response:
That file belongs to the Revealer Keylogger Free Edition program. It allows to control and record all the texts that are entered into a computer, it is used to spy on the activity of the computer.
The point is that it has protection to avoid being discovered easily for obvious reasons.
In the help of the program I found out that it is possible to access it by pressing the combination: CTRL + ALT + F9
If it does not appear, it is because it is not activated. Then you should try the following:
Enter Windows Explorer and go to C:\Windows\System32\rvlkl.exe.
If that file exists, it means that the program is installed.
