(Bk Sp, Backspace key). Key that moves the text cursor to the left, deleting a character. Instead, the Delete key deletes the character to the right of the cursor (within the context of a text).
In other contexts, it has other functions. For example, in browsers it is used to access the previous page that was viewed (Back or Back function).
