But what is her secret?
Through this interview, Majida Issa revealed how he does not get dazzled by fame
When an artist manages to take off, gaining prestige, popularity and better opportunities, a part of his identity is visibly affected, changing his attitude, his way of thinking and of course, his image before others, however, there are those who know very well what your path is and do not let yourself be overwhelmed by it.
In Majida’s case, growing up in a family of magnificent actors, as her grandmother remembered her Theresa Gutierrezor his uncles Miguel Varoni (protagonist of ‘Pedro, el escamoso’) and María Margarita Giraldo, made her very clear about her objectives and her character, which did not affect her at all.
This was expressed during an interview with the entertainment program ‘La Red’, on Canal Caracol, where she assured that by the time fame came into her life, she was already «very well accommodated in her character.»
“Seeing them (her relatives), how they handled everything, my grandmother and how she handled it well… I think that the issue of fame has to do with the fact that one has been educated in another way; In my case, I saw it a lot at home and also in the theater world, so when the world of television and cinema came into my life, and this recognition or fame also began, well, I was already very well accommodated in my character and in my life goals.”
What is the goal of the actor?
The talented Majida stressed that the most important thing in an actor’s career should not be to achieve fame because «as it comes, it goes», but to make their characters remain in the memory of the viewers.
“There are characters that people never forget. There are people who will never forget the interpretation of Helenita Vargas but they do not necessarily remember that I did it; they remember the experience by watching the series.”
