Ingredients

  • 200 grams of spaghetti
  • Water
  • Salt
  • One and a half cups of whipping cream
  • A cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter
  • Two finely minced garlic cloves
  • Black pepper
  • Nutmeg (optional)
  • Olive oil
  • finely chopped fresh parsley

Preparation

Step 1. Cook

The first thing you should do is boil water and add the pasta there so that it cooks between 8 and 10 minutes. Once the pasta is done, strain it and reserve a little water from cooking the pasta.

Step 2. Make sauce

In a frying pan, heat olive oil and pour the garlic there to fry them. After a minute, lower the heat and add the butter; as soon as it has melted, add the cream and beat well to incorporate the ingredients. Let this sauce reduce over medium low heat for a few seconds. Season with pepper, nutmeg and mix again. After 6 or 7 minutes, when the sauce has thickened a bit, add the grated cheese and mix.
