A women’s tribute to Alejandro Sanz

Female voices pay homage to one of the most important artists in Spain by singing his hits, they are Martha Sanchez, Chambao Lamari, Natalia Jimenez, Ana Torroja, Thalia, malu among many more.

And if it were them, it is the title of the album that compiles a great repertoire of female voices that will perform the most successful singles in Alejandro Sanz’s long career. A tribute that pays homage to a singer who has managed to achieve success outside our borders and who began his career back in 1988.

Thirteen songs that will feature luxury voices for the album, such as that of Marta Sánchez, who was the first to premiere her song, And what if it was her? A mythical song that we have all heard at some point in our lives. The artist himself has been involved in the project hand in hand with the music producer miguel angel arenas, «Cap».

The artist himself recognizes that it is a luxury and a pleasure that his songs sound with female voices, quite an achievement for the producer “Capi”: “For me it is an honor to be sung by these voices. For me it is a pleasure and a prize, a medal that I hang on my chest with the happiness of a mission accomplished by a much-loved producer. The only one who could do something like that, my songs sung by women”.

On the other hand, Marta Sánchez from Madrid is very happy to premiere this new project and, in addition to being the interpreter who opens the CD. In addition, the former singer of Olé Olé, she is immersed in new projects such as being a judge in the successful Antena 3 program, Tu Cara Me Suena, replacing the beautiful Carolina Cerezuela.
