The lawsuit comes after a conciliation act held on November 21 in which the parties did not reach an agreement. From this moment, defendants have 20 days to present the corresponding evidence in his defense.
According to the plaintiffs, Livam would have sent I love you so much (whose chorus says «I love you, I love you so much», compared to «I dream of you and I love you so much» by Shakira and Vives) in the late 1990s to the now sued record label.
This is not the first time that the Colombian singer is accused of plagiarism. In 2014 a federal judge in New York ruled that her song Loca de ella was a plagiarism of Loca con la Tiguere de ella, by the Colombian singer Ramon Arias Vazquez .
