The RCN Channel prepares to make the new version of the series Menwhich in the 90s starred Margarita Rosa de Francisco.
RCN has been making different retreads of novels that were quite famous in their time, such as Woman-fragranced coffee and now Till money do us part with Carmen Villalobos and Sebastián Martínez. Now, the channel surprised with the news that it will return to produce a new version of the series Men which in the 90s was very successful.

In the year 1996 and 1997, the RCN Channel told the story of several prototypes of Colombian men and immediately became a success. The series starred Margarita Rosa de Francisco alongside Nicolás Montero. In addition, it had the antagonistic participation of Alejandra Borrero, Luis Mesa and Gerardo de Francisco.
Now the new production would be called ‘Manes’ and the adaptation would be in charge of the Amazon platform, so it would have few chapters to see how the series fares. Although they do not have a female lead, everything seems to indicate that Juan Pablo Urrego would be in charge of bringing Julián Quintana to life and Variel Sanchez has also been talked about as one of the men.
However, on social networks, several people have questioned whether the channels have run out of inspiration to produce new stories.
