This is the complaint of the woman who was expelled from a park

“My experience was traumatic. I bought tickets and parking online which was a lot of money. My family and I were welcomed into your park at 5 pm We were having fun, enjoying the ride, and spending money on what we thought was going to be a great vacation spot in Oklahoma City.

Around 7 pm a park officer yelled at my daughter for rolling down the hill on her heels right next to me, I was holding her hand. So she followed me, she grabbed my shoulder to turn me around and proceeded to tell me my shorts were ′ ′ too short.

I did not commit any crime and proceeded to walk towards my boyfriend, as I am autistic and have a hard time talking to officers. The officer kept yelling at me and calling for backup. Then her incompetent manager showed up and she started body shaming me.

They told me I needed to go buy new shorts, but I’m not obligated to buy anything I don’t want. Then they threatened to charge me with criminal trespass when I agreed to buy other shorts so my family could enjoy the vacation.

Then they pushed me and escorted me to the exit. Accepting this, we were about to leave, but an officer stopped us from leaving, he readied the handcuffs and asked me for my identification. When we asked about the cause, his answer was ′ ′ because we are the police ”.

At this point we started recording to have a video of the illegal tactics. They didn’t give us badge numbers and I was terrified I was going to jail for a pair of shorts.

His officers made my 11 year old daughter cry hysterically thinking her mother was about to be arrested. Her policies are vague and confusing and the way they shame and discriminate is illegal.”
