Shape your body imitating animals

Bored of jogging, sit-ups and squats? Try walking like a lizard or jumping like a frog and you will see how you sweat in a few minutes.

Let’s be honest, the gym is boringAt least to many of us. After running to nowhere on a treadmill for almost an hour every day, we feel like we’re doing something very repetitive.

That is why more fun alternatives arise, such as aerobics or rumba classes. For some time now, a new trend has been becoming very fashionable that proposes exercise by imitating the movements of animalswithout using any type of machines.

This trend has different names, depending on which country the classes are offered in; in Australia They call it Zuu, in the United States it is known as Animal Flow and in Mexico Animal Motion. Precisely, below we share a video that explains what this technique is all about.

The creator of the Australian version of this exercise, Nathan Helberg, explained to the BBC that «it is from low impact, ideal for people who don’t like to runwho have knee problems or older people”.

It doesn’t matter what it’s called and who created this form of exercise, the important thing is that it looks like a lot of fun! It is perfect for involving children in your exercise routine and that way you entertain them while you take care of your body.
