Ingredients

  • 350 cm3 of milk cream
  • three tablespoons of sugar
  • 200 cm3 of mascarpone cheese (if you don’t get it, you can replace it with another jar of spreadable cheese)
  • 300 grams of cheese to spread
  • Vanilla bakery cookies (many)
  • To make the syrup: 150 grams of sugar
  • 150 cm3 of water
  • Two tablespoons of instant coffee
  • A teaspoon of liquor (brandy, rum, aguardiente)
  • cocoa powder

Preparation

Step 1. Pour

Put a deep pot with water and heat it over medium high heat. Later, pour into it the 150 grams of sugar and the two tablespoons of instant coffee. Mix until the coffee dissolves. Let it cook until it boils (about two or 3 minutes) and remove from the heat, reserving. This will be your syrup.

Step 2. Mix

In a sufficiently large bowl, mix the cream, 3 tablespoons of sugar and beat these ingredients with an electric mixer or a kitchen balloon, until medium point, that is, without thickening too much. In another bowl, mix mascarpone cheese, cheese spread and stir until incorporated. Add to this mixture the cream that you beat previously (sugar and milk cream), while mixing very well.

Step 3. Assemble

Add as little liquor as you like to the syrup. Subsequently, fill the entire bottom of the refractory in which you are going to present the dessert with vanilla cookies and brush them with the syrup until they are completely impregnated. Then, put more or less half of the mixture that you made with the creams in the previous step, on top of the cookies, taking care that it is well spread. Now, add more vanilla cookies on top of this cream that should also be impregnated with syrup. To finish, add the other half of cream on the top layer. Sprinkle the cocoa at the end to decorate and take the container to the fridge for about an hour. When you take it out of the fridge, it will be ready to be portioned and served to your guests. Bon Appetite.
