One of those inevitable plans for residents of the capital and visitors to the city is to go up to the tower’s terrace and helipad. Due to the pandemic and the restrictive measures that were imposed to mitigate the risk of the Coronavirus, it has been confirmed that this space is finally reopening. It will be done with all biosafety care that will allow controlled access without risk to the health of visitors.
For a year and a half, the ascent of the curious to the terrace was not allowed. Now, the entity in charge of the administration of the viewpoint said that tourists will find several novelties. Of course, only people who comply with the use of respiratory protection masks for Covid will be accepted and the capacity will be reduced.
Torre Colpatria reopens for the first time after a year and a half of pandemic
The news of this long-awaited reopening was delivered by Paola Andrea Chávez Benavides, who is part of Real Estate Assets Management, the firm that manages this building. Among the novelties that visitors will find is that the floor was changed for a deck and also, the security and strength of the railings were reinforced, as well as the security system.
According to Chávez, visitors must access without exception, with all biosafety parameters such as the use of face masks and the disinfection of their hands. Furthermore, he confirmed that “The capacity will be 60 people who can be there on a rotating basis. It is not that there is a limit on the length of stay, but rather that as people leave, new visitors come in”.
The facilities will have demarcation to maintain adequate distance and the spaces will be disinfected every 20 minutes. To ascend you must call 7443571 or ask at the reception of the tower where the tickets are purchased, which will cost 10,000 pesos for those over six years of age.
The viewpoint will be open from this Friday, August 27, from 6 in the afternoon to 9 at night. On Saturdays it will be open from 2 in the afternoon until 8 at night, and on Sundays and holidays from 11 in the morning until 5 in the afternoon.
