Trick to line your eyes even if you have a bad pulse

He painted a couple of small dots just above his eyelashes. He looked pretty weird, until he did this!

Let’s face it: Unless you have a degree in geometry, the steady hands of a surgeon, or a penchant for art, mastering eyeliner technique is just plain hard. We all know that it does not go out of style, it gives depth to the look and it is one of the most seductive details when we put on makeup. Luckily, painting yourself with cat eyeliner just got a whole lot easier thanks to this trick!

We explain the step by step of this trick…
  • To start, you will need two types of eyeliner: one in down and one liquid. You will need to paint a total of six dots on the upper lid, from the inside to the outside of the eye (make sure you make them the same size). The first, in the inner corner of the eye, the second, just where the iris begins, the third at the height of the pupil, the fourth will be where the iris ends. The fifth point is a little more difficult, since you have to follow the «imaginary line» of the lower lid to the place where your upper lid does not move. It is very important to get this point right because the final effect will depend a lot on where you mark it.. Pulling it too far down will make the eye look sadder, and pulling it too far up will exaggerate the effect. The sixth and last point will be the end of the corner of your eye, and it will depend on you at what height it will be, since you must already have your «cat’s eye» planned.
  • Now, with the liquid eyeliner, you must follow the line of the points to join them. Starting from the innermost point of the eye, try to make a slightly curved line. It should be easy to connect all the dots since you should have done them at the same level. The last two points should be in a straight line, points five and six.
  • To finish the shape, you will have to paint another small line that joins the two ends of the outer part of the eye, making a kind of triangle.
  • The hardest part is done, because now it’s time to fill in the entire shape you’ve created. To fill it in, use the same felt-tip liner that you used at first.
  • Going over the entire shape with liquid eyeliner for a better effect, because the down has less pigmentation than the liquid.
  • If you find it difficult to fill in the ends well and give it a professional and clean shape, you can help yourself with cotton swabs soaked in makeup remover to correct any imperfections that may have remained.
