Maybe there is nothing more human than the search for futuristic cities. We write about them in utopian and dystopian novels, we offer glimpses about how they would be in movies and television series and now, we also build them. Although designing for the future could be understood as the most basic requirement for architects and urbanists, in recent years this objective has taken to a new level. It seems that companies reveal plans to fully reimagined metropolitan areas: From floating cities to those located in the outer space.
