The owner of this small space on the roof of the Saint-Georges neighborhood is passionate about art, design and creation. «The floor had been remote to the previous owners, but some of the aesthetic options did not like. He asked us to work in the kitchen, the living room and the finishes of the rooms,» Sylvain Railard and Timothée Souchard, Founding Architects of Inée. IKEA kitchen furniture is made of wood painted black, classic and contemporaries at the same time, combined with a porcelain set countertop, shooters that enhance the set and two shelves in the same tone as the beams. The countertop is of the same stone as the shower room, but in a lighter tone.

«This small apartment in the pedestrian zone of Montorgueil is a real jewel,» says Laura Markman, architect and founder of Atelier Noun. The floor is made up of large waxed concrete tiles that respond to the stone wall, while Ikea's kitchen has its own history. «The idea was to generate a feeling of continuity using gray lacquer tone on tone for low furniture, while believing and high furniture remembers the white roof in a mixture of textures that allows this kitchen, large in relation to the size of the floor, it is perfectly integrated into space.» The beam also provides texture, just like the marble countertop and the wall that has been left unfinished. This creates a beautiful history between the materials, such as the tiles of the sideboard, which are placed from the blender tap to spread through the wall, a sign of a clear aesthetic concern.

In this Parisian department, architect Marie Deroudilhe combined the light oak and white to Bring an apartment from the 70s to the 2020s.
The room has an open structure, with the kitchen, the dining room and the room in the same space. «We have a large rectangular space in one of whose corners we have installed the kitchen, on which a bank-assisting has been placed to live together at the time of food, with the intention of keeping the kitchen open and giving it at the same time a more leading role, since the owners cook a lot.» So The architect compacted the kitchen calculating every detail to the millimeter. A seat bank makes the transition between the room and the dining room, while saving space by avoiding circulation around the table and that the chairs occupy a lot of space.
