3 tips to understand that we attract what we are

My body and yours are an agglomeration of particles of light that vibrate and are configured according to what we feel and think, if we maintain thoughts of abundance, harmony, compassion, generosity, love, etc. then our bodies are literally configured to house the subtle energy that these thoughts are creating so that we can be in harmony with it.

The same thing happens when we think pure filth, when we hold thoughts of fear, lack or anger, our beautiful little bodies are configured to house those energies and we experience it: the temperature rises, the heart rate accelerates, our breath changes, we move in a hurry or violence and we are in «reaction mode» all the time.

On the contrary, when we hold thoughts of harmony, abundance, creativity, etc. our bodies are more relaxed, we move smoother, our shoulders relax, our breathing is deeper and smoother, our cells grow and renew themselves.

Besides that, our body works as an amplifier and a magnet of energy. When our light particles are vibrating in love, for example, because we hold genuinely loving thoughts, we attract more love into our lives. Like when we are in love with a person or a project or our life and everything is going smoothly, it is not by chance, it is causality. We cause that love to reach us and multiply and as soon as we put our attention on another feeling we attract other types of events and people into our lives.

Wayne Dyer says, and I completely agree with that: We don’t attract into our lives what we want, we attract what we are.

This idea is not to punish or scold us, on the contrary, use it as an inspiration to think, feel and consciously decide who and how you want to be and from there attract more of what you already are.

And well, you could say «Aha, it sounds very easy, but how do I do it?» I believe that in this matter of personal development and the evolution of consciousness there is no such thing as «One Size Fits All» I believe that everyone is forging their path, but I also believe that we can share some tools or practices that can do more The path is simple, here are three tips:

  • Develop awareness of your thoughts, you are not them. Develop the ability to see them arise and see them disappear. You can meditate sitting still to achieve this, but you can also consciously pay attention within yourself to the thoughts that arise throughout the day, when you brush your teeth, when you cook or when you take a shower for example.
  • Learn to choose your thoughts as you choose the clothes you wear or the food you eat, pay the same care and conscious attention to the thoughts with which you are going to feed your mind every day. A good tool is to keep a log or diary, where you regularly write down the thoughts that arise in your mind on a regular basis and also write down the type of thoughts that you would like to generate, writing them down helps you become aware of them.
  • Practice being «here and now» 100%. Pay all your attention to your present moment, with full awareness of what you are thinking and feeling at every moment. Learn to observe your sensations, this will help you develop confidence that you can consciously alter them for your benefit and that of others. For this, I really like to use «Shikantaza» a form of Zen meditation where you just sit down to breathe and contemplate everything that arises in your mind with the firm intention of not identifying with it, to see it arise and see it disappear.

Here is a very simple guided meditation that you can use, it is free and you can download it.
